All members are invited to attend the Lake City Yacht Club Annual General Meeting. Members will receive reports on Club activities and finances, consider the proposed membership fees for 2027, elect Officers and Directors, review honorary memberships, and receive updates on strategic initiatives and future planning. While we will endeavor to make Microsoft Teams available to view the meeting, it's functioning is not guaranteed so in-person attendance is strongly encouraged.

In accordance with Sections 4.05 and 6.06 of the LCYC By-Laws, members elect Officers and Directors. Committee responsibilities, including Membership, Social, Clubhouse, Publicity, Regatta, Long Range Planning, and other committees established by the Board, are assigned by the Board following installation of the incoming Board.

Sailing School and Sail for Leukemia leadership positions are Board-appointed roles and are not elected offices under the Club By-Laws.

Interested in Serving?

Lake City Yacht Club is always looking for members interested in serving on the Board, leading committees, and supporting Club programs. Members interested in future elected or appointed leadership opportunities are encouraged to contact a current Board member prior to the AGM so interests and opportunities can be discussed in advance.

Pursuant to Article III, Section 3.01 of the LCYC By-Laws, nominations from the floor may be made by eligible Voting Members during the election.
