NOTICE OF RACE

The annual Trans-Pepin race will be held August 1, 2026. The race start time is 1:00 PM. Skippers meeting at 11:30am in the LCYC Clubhouse.

This annual race is a lot of fun for the whole family and friends. The race will be a point-to-point distance race. Start/Finish line will be roughly half way between Lake City and Pepin so that we can maximize participation of club members of both Lake City Yacht Club and Pepin Yacht Club.

Medals will be awarded and back-slaps are encouraged. :-) All boats, LCYC or otherwise are invited. The more the merrier.

Please register here. If you haven't sent in your race registration, please send them to the race director at john.lares@icloud.com. Forms are available on the LCYC website under the Race tab.

Pepin Open - Reschedule (22 Aug 2026)

This is a rescheduling of the Pepin Open. We will change to a one-day event so we can maximize participation. Skipper's meeting at 9:30 AM at the LCYC clubhouse and first race start at 11:00 AM. We will try to get in 3 races. If you already paid, choose the "Already Paid" ticket type.

UPDATE THIS

WHOA, summer has moved fast. However, a few more acts of fun are still planned.

Rib-Fest is set for Saturday, September 5th from 5:00 to 10:00.

5:00 Social Hour inside the club will be BBQ nachos, veggies and dip, beer, wine and root beer.

6:00 Dinner The Rebel food truck will be out front to serve up the ribs. Dinner will include ribs (4 bones), coleslaw, and beans.

Grab your ticket out front, you will need a ticket to eat!

Dessert will be a build your own ‘LCYC blizzards’, cookie crumbles, fruit, chocolate syrup and more. Available inside the club.

Adults or rib eating kids - $30/person.
