Lake Pepin still has a few good sailing days left in her. Let's make the most of one!
The Fall Frolic is a relaxed end-of-season race: one more chance to get out on the water with friends before the boats come out. Serious racers can chase the win, and everyone else can enjoy what might be the prettiest sail of the year. Either way is the right way to do it.
Skipper's meeting: 11:30 AM
First boat start time: 1:00 PM
FORMAT: Pursuit start planned
REGISTRATION: Registration is required - do it here (and early)! Ideally, we need your registration at least a day ahead of time to calculate your start time.
CREW: Need crew, or have a spare spot? Let John know and we'll make matches. This is a great race for newer sailors to get a feel for racing without the pressure.
DRESS FOR THE SEASON: Fall on the lake runs colder than it looks from shore. Bring layers, gloves, and something warm for the ride home.
AFTER THE RACE: Medals for those who are collecting them, and back-slaps a-plenty.
Come frolic.
JL, Commodore
